Bird Thawing Event
Syracuse, NY, 2026
There was a bird trapped within a large block of ice, and on July 17, 2026, he was thawed. The Bird Thawing Event was a free event I created to promote my band, Water Hotel, raise money for animals, and give the people of Syracuse a good time. Over 400 people showed up from all over the country to watch a plush blackbird melt out of an ice block. The event garnered over 42,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube in under a month. I created all social media posts and videos promoting the event. Piracy is No Party! In 2020 I had a dream about a non-existent anti-piracy screen in Mario Party DS.
